Giving Back

The enormous potential of genetic technology carries with it an important responsibility. To help students better understand these important issues, we have developed Making Science Glo!® educational materials, and are working with Carolina Biological Supply Company to provide GloFish® fluorescent fish to classrooms across the country.

GloFish are a wonderful and exciting addition to your classroom. They can fascinate your students, and provide an excellent teaching tool for introducing topics such as the science, ethics, and environmental implications of modern biotechnology.

We encourage you to read about using our fish in your classroom in this Carolina Tips Article (pdf), and then visit Carolina Biological Supply’s GloFish® fluorescent fish pages to order today.

We also invite you to download and use the Making Science Glo! educational materials below and welcome any feedback you might have.
